One of the things that I love best about what I do for a living is meeting really great people, and being able to create a whole new look to compliment their own personal style!
Terri and I met when she would bring her daughter, Keisja, in to have her hair done. She had been coming in for a year or so before I had the nerve to say, “Hey, I would really love to give you a new look!” Terri said yes, and then all the fun began designing a style that would be easy to manage and suit her best.
I felt Terri needed a softer haircolour to enhance her skin tone, so I added some highlights in her fringe and underneath. I shortened and layered her cut to create softness, but went with a full fringe to bring out her beautiful eyes and give her a cheeky edge.
After finishing her hair Kayla Rae polished off her look with a makeup application using Jane Iredale mineral cosmetics.
Then off to the studio for pictures with Karen McKinnon to capture it all with a really fantastic shot!
