Jason Kirsch – Stylist
Jason has been part of the Roots Creative Team for the past 5 years. He is an excellent stylist, and he loves doing hair! Although completely competent in all aspects of hair design, Jason admits his preferred work is working with curly hair and creating formal, “dress-up” hairstyles for special occasions.
Jason loves the spontaneous creativity of being a stylist, and while there are many aspects of hair styling that are the same on a day to day basis, each client is different with unique features, preferences, and personality. Jason also enjoys the excitement and teamwork of creating new styles for photo shoots and hair show events.
Jason is also a talented dance instructor, teaching Latin and Swing ballroom dancing at Valdance and performing with Rainbow Youth Theatre. He enjoys the expressiveness of dance and being able to facilitate a positive experience for other people. When he’s not behind the chair or out on the dance floor, you may also find Jason throwing yoyo, which provides a quirky and fun stress release and focusing tool.
This local dance star is creative, charismatic, style savvy and down-to-earth. But don’t let his calm demeanor fool you. His tireless thirst for advanced education, including Coverline, Sukis International, Goldwell and KMS — just to mention a few — make this dance star one talented hairdresser.
