Crystal-lee – Makeup Artist

Crystal-lee has been working in the makeup industry for 8 years. After completing extensive training in the Makeup Artistry program at Blanche MacDonald’s Centre for Applied Design, Crystal-lee moved to Toronto and began her career. Creating everything from simple day to day makeup to complex special effects, Crystal-lee has worked in many different mediums including film and theatre. She finds great satisfaction in showing her clients how to apply their own makeup and sharing her expertise in beauty enhancing techniques. Crystal-lee has been working with Jane Iredale mineral cosmetics since 2006, and it is her product of choice where both skin care and health are concerned.
Crystal-lee is a multi-faceted and creative woman with a sharp and playful wit, expressing her creativity through the performing arts, writing and video editing. An avid reader, she finds inspiration in classic films, music, literature and art history. Crystal-lee has even had the opportunity to sing at Carnegie Hall! (Though she humbly admits it was while on a tour)
Crystal-lee envisions a dream life living in Venice, Paris or Bath and performing in a cabaret or with a theatre company. This dream would also involve lots of reading in big open fields and lots of exploring!
