We’re embracing our colorful roots!
We can’t get over the bold and beautiful colors that have swept the fashion and celebrity world recently. So we’ve decided to bring it here to you, in a variety of chemical free, vegan friendly colors from Manic Panic!

Its been a busy month here at Roots the Salon!
We’ve been welcoming the new year with a renewed attempt to limit our environmental impact on our lovely valley. Our first step was to become a boutique salon! Choosing to carry only our hair products helps us limit how much plastic is leaving the salon. It also helps us share a product that we trust to work for you.
Our second step was to offer refills!
So now, when you purchase product from our Roots line, simply bring your bottle back when it’s empty and we will refill it for 50% off. That way, you’re spending less money and we’re producing less waste. Talk about value!
And its not just us! We chose our makeup and skincare lines from companies that share our interest in sustainability and environmental impact. They’re also great for your skin.
Around the salon we do everything we can to reduce and reuse. All our magazines are recycled when they’re finished. We use high efficiency machines and cold water for all our laundry. Here at the front desk we try and limit our paper use by using email and facebook for communication. No more paper notes kicking around!
The new year is a great time to focus on a smaller environmental footprint. How do you reduce in your daily life?
